Club Sign-ups
On Friday,  September 4th MCMS students will have the opportunity to sign-up for faculty sponsored Clubs during Club Sign-Up Day at lunch.  Most Clubs, once they are formed,  are held at lunch and include a variety of student-interest activities. A Club Listing (meetings and sponsors) for the 2015-16 school year will be posted on the MCMS Web Site and Student Window once Clubs are up and running (in about 1-2 weeks). All students are welcome! Students should pay attention to the morning announcements AFTER Club Sign-up Day to listen for Club meeting times and rooms. Should you need additional information, please contact Mrs. Bagheri, Assistant Principal.

Following a major disaster, first responders who provide fire and medical services will not be able to meet the demand for service typically rendered. The local population will have to rely on each other for help in order to meet their immediate life saving, and life sustaining needs. The Community Emergency Response Team is a program that focuses on that preparedness. The six week training is conducted by the Ventura County Fire Department free of charge to all citizens eighteen and older.

Topics Include:
  • Light Search & rescue
  • Fire Suppression
  • Disaster First Aid
  • Disaster Psychology
  • Home Disaster Preparedness
