New IPMA President Outlines Plans for the Future

Rob Lingard Rob Lingard, CMM, the Director of Central Services for Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators in Salt Lake City, became IPMA's International President on April 1. He holds a Masters of Business Degree from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from the University of Utah. Actively involved in IPMA since 1993, Rob brings to this Presidency great familiarity with the association, its members, the industry and the needs of today's in-plant.

2013 Objectives

"Objectives this year include updating the website and incorporating smart media in our marketing strategy to further improve our ability to communicate with members and facilitate access to important information and networking resources. We also look forward to updating corporate and chapter bylaws to help us remain relevant as a resource, and presenting an excellent education conference in June. We are excited about the future and the direction we are going, so please join us as we move forward and continue to use IPMA services and resources."
