On December 5 IPMA held its first "regional" meeting in Little Rock, Arkansas. The event, a Lunch & Learn session, was open to IPMA members as well as nonmembers. Tamara Hargrove with the Arkansas Children's Hospital Administrative Support Group was instrumental in organizing the event. IPMA's President Tony Seaman helped to coordinate the educational session which was held at the Brandon Conference Center at Arkansas Children's Hospital. The program kicked off with an informal welcome, followed by an overview of IPMA presented by Tony Seaman. Tamara Hargrove then gave an outstanding presentation describing her print and mail department's full range of support services. Attendees were impressed by their range of services, volume of print and mail projects and department's resume of equipment. Kodak's Debra Benson then presented an overview of how Kodak, who graciously sponsored the luncheon, fits into the current in-plant marketplace and where it plans to go and grow moving forward. The event was very well received by all attendees, who expressed an interest in more regional sessions in the future.
