JULY 2016  |  PUBLISHED MONTHLY BY

Our Perspective
Spotlight: Summertime Activity

July means firecrackers, vacations and plenty of activity in the Augusta County Economic Development & Tourism department. We recently published our CY2015/FY2016 Report - a first for our office, and we encourage you to flip through here. We've covered figures and rankings, investment and jobs, tourism, infrastructure, marketing, business support and workforce development. We think the cover perfectly represents how our thriving industrial growth complements our exceptionally beautiful living.
In addition, we recently debuted http://augusta-startup.com/, an online guide for entrepreneurs looking to start a business in Augusta County. This exciting new "how to open a business" tool offers entrepreneurs an interactive guide through the start-up process in an informal, fun road map. Augusta County Economic Development worked with the City of Waynesboro's and City of Staunton's economic development offices on this project (http://valleybusinessstartup.com/).
As always, we'd love to hear from you! Enjoy your summer, and let us know how we can help your business.
