Our Perspective
Spotlight: Tim Fitzgerald, Augusta County Administrator
We have all heard the saying "the one thing that is constant is change." Augusta County has experienced that change over the last month. The County has three new leaders joining the Board of Supervisors and of course myself as County Administrator, representing significant change for the County. Even with those changes, one thing remains the same - the focus on economic development.
Economic development remains one of the Board's top priorities. Building better communities by providing jobs, responsible growth and additional economic opportunities for our citizens is certainly one of my priorities as I begin my tenure as County Administrator. I will be working with our economic development team to support and promote additional economic development growth while still supporting and encouraging our many great existing industries.
Thanks to each of you for being a part of our economic development team. Your support and promotion of Augusta County is much appreciated and will continue to play an important role as we continue to focus on economic development in Augusta County.
Thanks,
Tim
