Our Perspective
Spotlight: Business Appreciation Month

In Augusta County, we want to send a sincere thank you to each and every business that makes our community a great place to live and work.  Augusta County is home to more than 5,000 businesses that provide quality jobs for our citizens. We appreciate our Augusta County businesses each and every day so consider this newsletter a virtual hug!

If you're a social media lover, be sure to use #VABiz throughout the month of May as we all say thank you to the businesses that call Augusta County home.

Valley Bicycling - what do we know?

Take the Survey!

A regionally-sponsored survey is being conducted to collect information about bicyclists in our area. Whether you are a resident or visitor to the Shenandoah Valley, please take a few minutes to share your experience. Whether you prefer one-day bike excursions or ride every day and whether you prefer to ride with an organized event or tour, to commute, or just for fun on the area's roads or trails, we are interested in your feedback! All responses are confidential.

As a thank you for completing the survey, you will be invited to enter to win an amazing gift basket!

Take the survey HERE.

Design & Edit @ the Library

Instead of purchasing expensive software for your business' occasional needs, now you can visit the library.  Augusta County Library has added Adobe Photoshop and Premier Elements on its adult public access computers.  These are popular tools for editing photographs and videos. This spring, the library will also add Adobe Pro which is used to edit PDFs.

There is no charge to use these design tools, but you will need to apply for a library card.  The library also offers WiFi, printing, faxing, laptops for in-library use, and ample working space. For more information, call 540-885-3961/540-949-6354 or email [email protected].
