Our Perspective
Spotlight: Augusta Small Business Loan Fund

Augusta County proudly announces the launch of a Small Business Loan Fund! Augusta County's first-ever loan fund program, this new initiative is aimed at boosting ideas to reality. Born out of the Augusta County Economic Development Authority's enthusiasm to help small business and supported by the Board of Supervisors, the program will be offering loans up to $10,000 for terms of 1-5 years.

Requirements include: Enthusiasm, a completed business plan, and a future or current business located in Augusta County!

The Staunton Creative Community Fund will be administering the program in conjunction with Augusta County. Applications can be found online at www.AugustaVABusiness.com, and interested applicants can contact Augusta County Economic Development with any questions. We will begin accepting applications on May 1.

We believe in small business and support entrepreneurial activity in our growing economy.

As we now proclaim...

Small Business. BIG Plans.

Building the Valley Workforce Pipeline

WHSV-TV3, in partnership with the Shenandoah Valley Partnership (SVP), has introduced a new marketing initiative. The inDEMAND Jobs campaign will highlight career paths in the Valley that are in high demand, well-paying and don't necessarily require a traditional, 4-year, collegiate education. Please click on the link here or below, and hear Governor Terry McAuliffe and a local Daikin Applied employee share the story.
