Our Perspective
Spotlight on Provides

Buon Natale! (Italian for Merry Christmas)  Greetings to Augusta County's newest company: Provides US, Inc. Just today, Governor McAuliffe announced that Italy-based Provides Metalmeccanica Srl, a leader in the heat exchanger sector, will invest $6.1 million and create 45 new jobs in order to establish its first U.S. manufacturing operation in Augusta County. The company will co-locate with Daikin Applied in Verona in a 40,000-square-foot space. Provides manufactures evaporators and condensers and supplies those components to major HVAC companies worldwide.

Stories such as Provides' and Daikin's co-location showcase the strong advanced manufacturing sector we have in Augusta and strengthen my excitement for my recent appointment to the Governor's Manufacturing Development Commission.

Merry Christmas

from Amanda & Rebekah!

We've had a great year in Augusta County, and we're closing out the year with $69.7 million in investment and 219 new jobs. We're looking forward to a bright 2015 and wish you all a very blessed holiday.

'Tis the Season

Giving Back

Community giving is synonymous with Augusta County companies. This Christmas season, DASCOM Americas and Lineage Architects have collaborated on a creative initiative-the B.U.I.L.D a Tree project. Instead of a frazier fir or white pine, how about a Christmas tree made of....canned goods!

On December 12 at 1:00p.m., the "tree" will be "can"structed with the donations that have been collected. All goods and proceeds will benefit the Verona Community Food Pantry. Read here for more information, and visit DASCOM Americas during the holidays to view this life-giving tree.
