CDLC's Committee on Resource Sharing is planning the 2016 ILL Field Day for Monday, May 9th, 2016. Topics will include Intellectual Property and Resource Sharing. Reserve the date.

The East Greenbush Community Library has welcomed Jill Dugas Hughes as their new library director.

Lucy Wrightington, Senior Librarian at the Dickerman Library for the NYS Department of Health, has retired. Ann Marie L'Hommedieu, formerly at the Schaffer Library of Health Sciences at Albany Medical College, will be assuming the role of Library Manager.

The New York State Library's Division of Library Development has hired Sharon B. Phillips and Mary Anne Waltz. Ms. Phillips will be providing leadership for and assisting with statewide youth services initiatives. Ms. Waltz will be providing leadership for and assisting with State Library technology and resource sharing initiatives.

Irish American Heritage Museum Hosts Bus Trip

Enjoy a fun-filled day to NYC and visit the completely renovated St. Patrick's Cathedral, stop at Bryant Park for lunch and shopping, and see a play at The Irish Repertory Theatre-A Child's Christmas in Wales - by Dylan Thomas and directed by Charlotte Moore.

The Wiley Scholarship for Early Career Librarians

Wiley is offering three $1,500 scholarships to early career academic or research librarians (including ML(I)S students) to use towards attending one of the following library conferences:

Creating a Culture of Yes at Your Library and in Your Community takes place on November 18th from 1:00pm - 2:00pm. 

Staff at CDLC member institutions can request free access to one of our  lynda.com user licenses for a period of two weeks.
