Seeking Items for Welcome Bags!
 Since last fall, we have handed out 200 welcome bags to local realtors and other businesses! Time to make some more! If you would like to include items to promote your business, please bring a minimum of 150 pieces to the SVCC office by May 1. Items may be any promotional brochure or item.

Advertising Your Business on Social Media-Does It Work? Thursday, May 19, 8:30-10AM at SVCC.
You see the ads showing up in your Facebook news  feed. But do they work? If you already post to your social media accounts, does spending money to advertise help increase sales?
Learn the answers to these questions and more at the Build Your Business Workshop on Thursday, May 19, from 8:30-10 AM at the SVCC office. Featured  guest speaker Melissa Albano Davis of Grapevine Marketing will give us an overview of using Facebook and Linked In to advertise your business. $10 per person includes refreshments and materials. April 28th - Music at LaBelle Winery Feat. Robert Allwarden, 6 - 9 PM. Music on the Terrace at LaBelle Winery as part of the 2016 Music Series. This is a completely free event where guests are welcome to sit in our Bistro for a wine tasting or dinner and enjoy the live entertainment!
Look at the class line up and the artwork at Creative Ventures Gallery and come learn how to channel your creativity with us. We are considering running an oil painting class on Saturday instead of the current day of Friday. Contact the Gallery if you are interested (672-2500)

Independence Day Parade, 10:00 AM - Wilkins School. Individuals, organizations, and businesses are invited to join the parade. Decorate a wagon, a pickup truck, or a flatbed! Form a marching group-reflect the theme, do something fun! This is your parade! The theme this year is..."Flags and Fireworks."
