Looking for enthusiastic and hard-working professionals and/or students to join our construction team.    Ideal candidates 1) should have prior practical experience in the landscape construction and hardscaping field, 2) should be enrolled in landscape design and contracting programs at local

colleges/high schools and/or 3) are those that are willing to seriously work hard, positively contribute to the team, and are eager to learn new technical and creative skills. 

 

 

Pay to commensurate with experience.   Currently, this is a seasonal position with the opportunity to develop into full-time.  Health insurance, paid holidays and vacation, and professional development opportunities available.

March 29 Available Space Tour Of Commercial PropertiesThe Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce and Milford Improvement Team are once again holding an Available Space Tour of commercial and industrial properties in Amherst, Milford and Wilton on Saturday March 28 from 9 AM-12 PM. The purpose of this tour is to fill vacant spaces in the three towns, attract new businesses into our communities and promote the economic development of our area. There is no charge to property owners or agents and you are welcome to do any promotions such as raffles or drawings.


 

The tour will begin with a panel discussion for attendees at the Milford Police Station with the community development directors of Amherst and Milford, a building inspector, fire chief and commercial loan banker to give potential new business owners an overview of town requirements for fitting up a space. The tour is self-guided from 10-12. Attendees will receive a map and program listing the properties.Those interested in having their commercial, industrial or retail spaces on the tour, or to participate in the eventas an attendee, please contact SVCC at 673-4360 or tracy@souhegan.net.


ANNOUNCING! The St. Joseph Health Care Health & Wellness Fair, Coordinated by the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce

We are pleased to announce that St. Joseph
 Hospital is partnering with SVCC to present a Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, May 2 at the Armory in Milford, 10 AM-2 PM. The Fair will feature interactive booths, demonstrations and a healthy recipe contest! 

The American Red Cross will also hold a blood drive during the Fair from 10 AM - 3 PM.

Our event raises funds for The Chaplain's Emergency Relief Fund which provides New Hampshire military families with emergency needs primarily in the areas of rent, mortgage, utilities and medical bills.  Of the money received by CERF for donations, 100 percent goes directly toward emergency assistance - no portion goes to administrative costs and all funds stay in-state to help New Hampshire families.
