SVCC Membership Directory Is Coming In December!
The Cabinet Press and SVCC have partnered to publish a magazine-style Chamber Membership Directory that will be inserted in the December 18 Cabinet Press. All Chamber Members in good standing will be included in the publication Free of charge with their name, business, and contact information. If you are not currently a Chamber member but considering joining, now is the time! Deadline is November 21 to participate.

This is an exciting opportunity for all members. In advertising-speak, the magazine format has a longer 'shelf life,' meaning that readers will hang on to the directory as a reference for services or goods. Besides distribution in the Cabinet, SVCC will also receive copies for distribution in the office, welcome bags and other opportunities. We will have copies available at the December Business After Hours on Wednesday, December 17.

Advertising is what drives publications and makes it possible for the Cabinet to publish our directory. Please consider advertising in the directory when contacted by the Cabinet.

Many thanks to the Cabinet Press!

Identity Theft is becoming more widespread than ever - besides potentially costing victims hundreds of dollars (or more), the time spent regaining your 'identity' can be onerous. Some Facts:
  • Over 512 million Americans' Identities have been reported lost or stolen since January 2005.
  • Over 400,000 dead people opened bank accounts last year.
  • The revenue from trafficking financial data has surpassed that of drug trafficking. - US Secret Service
  • Over 3.5 million children have already fallen victim to identity theft in the US.
  • *There are currently over 27,000 NEW identity theft victims EVERY DAY

  • You are THREE times more likely to have your identity stolen than you are to have your house or  car broken into.
There are methods to protect yourself and your business. Join us to hear Craig Graham of LegalShield present on this timely topic. Free to members, $10 nonmembers. A light lunch will be served.
