Get Mobile Charity Fundraiser

Sunday May 4th, Registration starts at 10 AM, bike race begins at 1 PM

*Ride participants & vendors needed!*

Let's go back to your younger days, your childhood, and remember your first time you felt the freedom to go anywhere and do almost anything. For a lot of us our first taste of freedom was on top of our first two wheeled bicycle, but for many people who were never able to ride a bike, that freedom never came.  The Get Mobile ride is a 10-30k benefit ride to help a person with a disability who has never been able to ride a bike get a bike they desperately need, with whatever modifications required to ride it.  All proceeds raised go toward the bike cost and adaptations involved.

We are looking for everyone interested to donate $10 and (if you're a cyclist) ride with us on Sunday May 4th through Amherst & Merrimack. We are also looking for vendors who would like to set up a tent in Heritage Place (the location of the event) to promote their services to all cyclists the day of the event.

For more information on the ride and who we're benefitting, please visit getmobileride.com.

Save the date for this year's 5th Annual A Taste of Milford! On Friday, May 30, from 6 pm to 8:30 pm, the Milford Improvement Team will be hosting its very popular annual event, in and around the Milford Oval. A Taste of Milford, pairs food from Milford area restaurants/caterers with an Oval retail or service business, and showcases both the food and the Oval businesses. Event attendees purchase tickets ($25) and receive a program/map that allows them to visit each select retail location for food and drink provided by the local restaurants. Attendees stroll at their own paces to each location, sampling the specialties of each restaurant. Attendees also vote for the Best Entre, Best Dessert and Best Presentation. The evening is a fun and relaxing way to try the different cuisines offered by the talented chefs of our  many local and diverse restaurants. There will also be live music throughout the evening, and each attendee will receive a goody bag filled with coupons and specials. This year's event is sponsored by  Amherst Label and Edward Jones, with both businesses  located in Milford.
