FIRST STRONGHOLD

The game for the 2016 FIRST Robotics Competition has been revealed! This year's game is FIRST STRONGHOLD, a medieval-themed challenge that promises to be fun to watch and interesting to build.

District Championship Community Social

This year, our New England FIRST Robotics Competition District Championship event will be held at the XL Center in Downtown Hartford on Thursday, April 14, 2016 through Saturday, April 16, 2016.

On Friday, April 15, 2016, NE FIRST is hosting an event during our District Championship Team Social to give FIRST alumni, graduating seniors and NE FIRST sponsors a chance to network with each other. This event is open to alumni of all FIRST programs who are affiliated with New England in some way, even if you no longer live in the area or were not part of a FIRST team located in New England. High school seniors are especially encouraged to attend the event to meet alumni and talk to them about what they've done since being a student in FIRST.

This event will be an informal gathering and will take place in the evening after the competition has concluded for the day. Dress will be casual since we know many of you will be coming straight from competition. Add this date to your calendar and stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the competition date.

Event Volunteering

Our Volunteer Coordinators are hard at work assigning positions for our 11 FIRST Robotics Competition events in New England this year! If you're interested in volunteering at a District Event or District Championship, sign up in the Volunteer Information Management System (VIMS). Information about how to use VIMS can be found here.
