NE FIRST Consent & Release Form

All teams competing at an NE FIRST event must fill out an NE FIRST consent and release formin addition to the one that was filled out with FIRST when registering in TIMS for mentors or STIMS for students. These forms should be completed and signed by parents/authorized adults and brought with the team and turned at the beginning of the team's first district event. The form will cover the team for additional plays in New England during the season and only needs to be filled out once. The form can be found here.

"Last Chance to Ask an Expert" Event

The Last Chance to Ask an Expert seminar is happening again this year on Friday, Jan. 8 from 1-4 p.m. at FIRST HQ in Manchester, NH. FIRST Senior Mentor Dana Henry, along with a panel of mentors, VISTAs and possibly FIRST staff members, will be available in person as a resource to the FRC community. Looking for advice? Need questions answered before going into Build season? This is your last chance before Kickoff to relax, have some good conversation and get your answers.

Feel free to stop by at any point during the event! If you have any questions, email Dana at dhenry@firstinspires.org.

Behind the Lines

Check out the last two episodes of Behind the Lines, a collaboration between FIRST Robotics Competition and FRC GameSense. The purpose of this series is to make key knowledge and resources available to the community through an engaging hour-long show.

FIRST Scholarships & Internship Portal

Apply for FIRST Scholarships!

Have you taken a look at the FIRST Scholarship page lately? There are around 200 scholarship providers and $25 million in available scholarships for students. Several scholarship deadlines are during either build or competition season, so it's advantageous for team members to apply before the season starts. A handful of scholarships are available to juniors in high school, as well.

Internship Portal

The FIRST Internship Portal is an in-development collaboration with FIRST Sponsors to connect FIRST Alumni with internship opportunities available at their organizations. All Internship opportunities are created and managed by the listed company. Questions about the Internship Portal? Email alumni@firstinspires.org.
