FRC Hardship Grant

The FRC Hardship Grant is now live for any team not able to pay their registration fee for the 2016 competition season.

In order to be eligible for a Hardship Grant, your team must meet the following criteria:
- Your team must be registered for no more than one Regional or two District events for the 2016 FRC season
- Your team must not be a recipient of the 2016 FRC Rookie Grant (administered by FIRST)

The grant application and full criteria are located here.

Applications must be fully submitted no later than 11:59 pm on Monday, Nov. 30 in order to be considered for a grant. Teams will be notified of whether or not they received funding by Thursday, Dec. 3. Questions can be directed to [email protected]. For additional fundraising and grant opportunities, see the FIRST Fundraising Toolkit.

FIRST National Advocacy Conference Presented by Team RUSH 27
Location: Washington, D.C.
Event Dates: June 19-21, 2016

This is an opportunity for FIRST teams to make a difference in our future!Students and mentors will be trained on the issues and sent out to Capitol Hill to meet with their Senators and Members of Congress to tell them about FIRST. Participants will have the opportunity to let Congress know how they should be prioritizing the expansion of FIRST and STEM in upcoming legislation.

Teams will have a chance to network and collaborate as they prepare for Advocacy. Students will come out as globally-minded confident experts and Congress will know why they should listen to these students!

More information about the event, including how to register, can be found on the website.
