Save the Date: 2016 Kickoff & Stop Build Day

 

Since New Year's Day 2016 takes place on a Friday, Kickoff will be shifted a week later to Saturday, Jan. 9. As a result, Stop Build Day will also be a week later, on Tuesday, Feb. 23. Be sure to plan your season accordingly!

 

 

2016 TIMS Pre-Registration Reminder

 

Your team's Main or Alternate contacts may login to TIMS to update your team's profile information. Rookie teams can create a new team and start the pre-registration process in TIMS, as well. Students and their parents/guardians can also login to their Youth Team Member Registration (STIMS) accounts at this time.

 

 

Mainely Spirit Off-Season Event

 

FRC Team 2648 will be hosting their fifth annual Mainely SPIRIT off-season event on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at Messalonskee High School in Oakland, ME. The cost of the event is $150/team with teams being able to bring a second robot or "twin bot" for free. Teams can register here and sign up to volunteer here. More information about the event, including the schedule, rule changes and nearby hotels can be found on the website. Any questions can be submitted through the off-season contact form.

 

 

NE FIRST University Day in Connecticut

 

This year's NE FIRST University Day in Connecticut will be on Saturday, Sept. 12. University Days are an opportunity for members of the FIRST community to learn, meet, and share their knowledge with other teams. The event is open to FLL coaches, FRC mentors and students, and invited guests.

 

If there's a workshop that you would like to host, email your request to Lauren Jefferson at ljefferson@usfirst.org. Workshops can be done by individuals or groups and can be presentations or panels.

Coming Soon: 2015-2016 PTC FIRST Grant

 

The 2015 PTC FRC/FTC grant isn't available just yet, but you can register to be notified when it goes live here. The grant deadline is Friday, Sept. 18 and announcements will be made on Friday, Oct. 16.

 

 

NE FIRST is Hiring!
