NE District Event Updates Practice Day/Day Zero Reminder As a reminder, every District Event officially starts at 5 p.m. on Practice Day/Day Zero, not at 8 a.m. on the first day of qualification matches. If possible, please make sure to have your robot inspected by the end of Practice Day. Waiting until the first day of qualification matches for inspections could result in match delays or your team missing its first qualification match. Additionally, make sure your team arrives on time for both days of competition to ensure your team doesn't miss any important information. Week 1 Results Match results and awards are now posted for the Waterbury and Granite State District Events! District rankings are also up and can be found here. Rankings are subject to change throughout the competition season, especially as more teams compete and teams start competing in their second events. Additionally, match videos, Chairman's videos and robot reveals for New England teams will be posted on the NE FIRST Youtube Page. If you want to feature your team's Chairman's video or robot reveal, be sure to submit it! Noodle Recycling As mentioned in last week's FRC Blog post, there will be a noodle recycling area hosted by Pit Admin during each event. Teams, feel free to drop off your broken noodles here or take any pieces you might be able to make use of either now or in the future. NE FIRST Consent & Release Form Reminders All teams competing at an NE FIRST event must fill out a NE FIRST consent and release form in addition to the one that was filled out with FIRST when registering in TIMS for mentors or STIMS for students. The form can be found on the Consent and Release Form section of the FIRST site under "New England." The NE FIRST Consent & Release forms only need to be submitted at your first event. Teams that already submitted forms at their Week 1 event do not need to submit them again. |
