Hello Everyone,

We are on the verge of another exciting stage of Solar Flow-Through's journey toward becoming a significant player in Ontario's solar power industry. In this edition of Watts Current, you'll learn more about how we're preparing for the upcoming Small Fit 3.0 renewable energy program.

This month we're sharing some recent developments concerning Canada's largest solar photovoltaic project in Ontario. We're also highlighting reports on the increasing role solar is playing in new energy capacity in the United States and how the nation's government is financing that growth.

I hope you enjoy this month's edition of Watts Current.

Solar Flow-Through and Partners to Submit Applications for Small Fit 3.0

The Ontario Power Authority (OPA) began accepting applications this month for the Small FIT 3.0 program. Solar Flow-Through and its partners are working diligently to prepare applications for this new round of procurement.

Our success with Small FIT 2.1 was in large part due to the extensive effort and detailed preparation of our team and that of our network of partners. These past weeks we've all been working just as hard to prepare for this latest round of procurements.

Solar Flow-Through has teamed up with solar developers to match properties with projects. Alongside our partners, we've also been putting in long hours to gather detailed engineering reports and other essential information for each project application.

Did you know?

Clean Energy-based government policies continue to be the main driver of North American solar market growth opportunities.

Under the most likely growth scenario, regional solar demand in North America will grow from just over 2,500 megawatts in 2011 to more than 7,000 megawatts in 2014.

Laser Focused on Success

These past weeks we've all been working hard to prepare for the OPA's latest round of renewable energy contract procurements.

I would once again like to thank all of our supporters, our great team and our growing network of solar development partners.
