Psychosocial Rehabilitation Update

This is a follow up to the recent provider alert (Feb. 9, 2015) regarding the number of hours billed in a week for PSR consumers.

Partners BHM has allowed a 30 hour per week pass through and will increase this pass through to 32 hours per week.   This will apply to both Medicaid and IPRS.  Requests over the 32 hours per week, should be submitted to Utilization Management for Review.

In response to the information that Partners BHM has received in communication with NC Tracks regarding the 32 hour hard limit for IPRS, we will use the next month to continue in conversations with NC Tracks and the Division of Mental Health (DMH) to determine if there is a possibility for another solution.  If any new information becomes available, PSR providers will be notified.  If it is determined that Partners BHM must adhere to the 32 hour hard limit for IPRS, we plan to implement this plan with dates of service April 1, 2015 forward.  Medicaid remains unchanged and is not impacted by NC Tracks; thus there is no hard limit in place.

CAQH Downtime Change--February 24-March 2, 2015

Please note the change in the dates for the CAQH Downtime.  The new dates are February 24 - March 2, 2015.  CAQH will be transitioning its Universal Provider Datasource (UPD) to CAQH ProView from February 24 - March 2, 2015.  The new system will launch on Monday, March 2, 2015.

Please note that Smoky, the credentialing delegate for CenterPoint, Partners, and Smoky, will not be able to access provider CAQH applications during this downtime.  Similarly, providers will not be able to submit or change their CAQH applications during the downtime.

If a providers' complete CAQH application is submitted prior to February 24, the application will be considered to be received on the date submitted to CAQH even if it can not be accessed by Smoky until March 2.  Please visit for more information.

Job Fair Seeking Peer Specialists!

Partners Behavioral Health Management (Partners) is hosting a Job Fair in our three main sites in an attempt to assist our providers in filling their vacancies for positions which require the Peer Specialist certification, and may be looking for some candidates in our organization as well.

This email serves as an invitation to this recruitment event and Job Fair and the date and time as well as location of each opportunity is listed below.  We are asking Providers who provide Peer Support Services, ACTT Team services and MH/SA Supported Employment services to have representation at one or all of these locations on these dates and times.  We are sending the invitation to all certified Peer Support Specialists and asking them to attend this event and to bring a current resume and PSS certification letter when they come.  Partners has indicated in the invitation to the certified Peer Support Specialists that there is no guarantee of employment but this will allow providers an opportunity to meet with the Peer Support Specialist and discuss their program openings.

If you are able and willing to be present and have staff attend this recruitment event, Partners is asking that you register through the links below to help us better prepare for the event at each of our locations.
