God's Word / Your Heart Memory Verses - November 2013
|
|
Core Belief: About Eternal Security and Eternity
Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Once born again, you cannot lose your salvation. Salvation is sustained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. Heaven is a literal place where God will wipe away every tear and there will be no more death, mourning, crying, or pain. Believers will live forever in God's presence. We also, believe in a literal hell, which is a place of physical and spiritual torment, experienced as a result of eternal separation from God. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
November 3rd Scripture: Hebrews 10:10
By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
November 10th Scripture: Hebrews 10:14
For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.
November 17th Scripture: Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
November 24th Scripture: John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
