Words can't describe my excitement after earning my first podium in triathlon's biggest event, the Ironman World Championships! After last year's disappointing race, not a day went by when I didn't think about getting another shot at Kona this year. With another year of training and a fire burning inside me to show the world what I can do, I took my fate into my own hands on race day. Crossing that finish line knowing I had delivered my best effort on the day made me more than proud to finish third. Even better then the result, sharing the joy of the strong finish with Rinny, Mark Allen, and all who have supported me and believed in me truly made my day.

Thank you to all of my partners: Trek, Newton Running, CLIF Bar, Castelli Cycling, Bontrager, Garmin, Aqua Sphere, Yurbuds, Smith Optics, FuelBelt, Endurance Sports Travel, PEAR Sports and Berkshire Asset Management, my coach Mark Allen and everyone behind the scenes of Team T.O. for the ongoing support. Triathlon is more then a sport, its a journey, with plenty of ups and downs that reward perseverance, tenacity, and dedication. My partners and supporters have given me the strength to persevere over the years and my race this year in Kona is testament to them and their great efforts.

I'd love to tell you more, but its time for some R&R for this guy...Napa, here we come! Once again, I can't thank everyone enough for you love and support. I hope to have you along for the journey next year too, I'm definitely going to need as we shoot for the top of the podium in '16!
Stay humble, stay hungry!
