July 2014
It's been a great month of racing and enjoying the sport from different vantage points. I had the opportunity to race as part of a Team RWB benefit relay team at the inaugural Challenge Atlantic City Race with Tom Nguyen and G.M. I met athletes at the finish line and placed their hard-earned finisher's medals around their necks. I also cheered on the next generation of triathletes including my niece and nephew at the Kid's Race and witnessed some impressive finishing kicks! A week following Challenge Atlantic City, Rinny and I both raced to victories at Challenge St. Andrews. With two winners in the household, we seem to have no one to wash the dishes!

I've been working closely with my team of sponsors on various projects including readying T.O.'s Trident, my new Trek Project One Speed Concept bike, for Kona three months from now.

July is a special month, as Trek matches dollar-for-dollar any contributions made to World Bicycle Relief. Since 2005, they have provided over 190,000 bicycles to disaster victims, healthcare workers, students and entrepreneurs as well as provided training for field mechanics. Please take a moment and donate if you can.

Stay humble, stay hungry!

Thanks to Jim Rice of New Jersey for submitting the winning name for my new Trek Speed Concept! The bike itself is still under wraps, but here's a sneak-peek at the decals.

Trek World Bicycle Relief

Last July Trek Bicycle helped provide 1,500 students with life-changing transportation and access to education thanks to their $ for $ match. This year, they're back and ready to build on that success.
