Bike Auction Winner - G.M.
Our cyclist goes by the initials G.M. and is a New York City investor. He began the sport of triathlon five years ago, having no prior swim experience, but he quickly moved his way up the distances. He has completed three Ironman races, and is planning to race the 2014 Ironman World Championship through a charity slot. He has raced on behaf of many charitable organizations such as Challenged Athletes Foundation, Ironman Foundation, Memorial Sloan Kettering Fred's Team, New York City Road Runner's Team for Kids, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Blazeman Foundation, Jane Tomlinson Appeal, and RTL We Help Children. Other races on G.M.'s calendar this year include Ironman 70.3 Austria and the New York City Triathlon.
Run Auction Winner - Tom Nguyen
Tom Nguyen is a father of four who owns an accounting firm with his sister in Houston, TX. Tom is an experienced marathoner, having completed 29 to date... which makes the Team RWB relay run at Challenge Atlantic City his 30th marathon! Five years ago he joined a triathlon club to help with his running and he has completed two sprint triathlons but admits his open water swimming could use some work. Tom was a Vietnamese refuge in 1975 and supports the Wounded Warrior Project and Team RWB.
