Dear Norm Breakers,

I hope 2014 started off on a good note for all of you. For me, it started with a journey to my motherland India. I visit couple of times a year to India spending a chunk of time in various shrines or being in presence of my Naani Maa(Grandma). These are the source of my energy and spiritual strength. This journey to India was fascinating covering the lesser known villages to the super busy city Mumbai. While I had a very earthy experience in the village, which shares the border with Pakistan and is home to may Sufi saints, the Mumbai visit brought me closer to many norm breakers ready to take part in Break The Norms activities. Nothing gives me more joy than seeing so much love and acceptance for our work at Break The Norms!

In 2014, make a note to the self of not becoming a slave to the circumstances. It is high time that you rise to your awareness shunning the conditioned system of society. Ofcourse, it will be a challenging task but do it for the sake of one life you got to live. Breaking the norms isn't bed of roses. Hence, very few seekers choose to do it. But if you are reading this, then you are already part of the tribe who loves to stand tall against the wind. Explore your purpose. Find out your purpose in the world. If you know the true nature of your existence, you are eligible to play the drama of life whichever way you want, to whatever extent you want. But until you haven't understood the play of consciousness, be aware enough to not be trapped.
