"As long as your happiness depends upon the external sources, you will continue to be a slave to those circumstances."
"Listen to the silence around you. It has so much to offer than the noises of self proclaimed Gurus. The real deal is happening just within you!"

You are unlimited
Jessica Saraswati
Many obstacles in life aren't even really there... they only exist in our own mind. Our limitations, constraints and barriers are, more often than not, merely illusions of our own consciousness, figments of our imaginations and based completely on no Truth at all. You may say, "Well, this is just the way I am... this is how I was raised, this is what I was taught, this is how my dad was, this is who I am and this is how it is...." But these are nothing more than excuses and this way of thinking is completely limiting and you are essentially cutting yourself off from the infinite potential that is actually yours. At any time, you can question everything, break the proverbial mold and rise up to become anything that you want to be.

Reprogram your Subconscious.
Heal your Illness.Sarah Anne Stewart
I've only seen my father scared once: when he was diagnosed with cancer. It was shocking for me to see him visibly overwhelmed and shaken by the news. Yet, what was even more startling was, despite his rattled demeanor, his confident words to the doctor:
"Have you ever seen a miracle?" he asked the doctor.
"No," the doctor replied.
"Well, you will see one now."
And I knew he meant it.

A Note from the Founder:
Welcome to our March newsletter!
The month of February saw demise of Debbie Ford, one of the greatest teacher of our time. Gone too soon, but she will continue to live in all of us through her extra-ordinary work. The Shadow Effect, Courage and The Spiritual Divorce remains are some of her best works & recommended for everyone on journey of self-discovery. Break The Norms has observed silence for the peaceful departure of her soul. I urge everyone to say a prayer of love and peace for the smooth transition of her soul. We will miss you Debbie!
I must admit that I am truly overwhelmed by the increasing number of fan emails every month. Break The Norms is evolving into its own signature brand of self growth. The credit goes to everyone who supported us with constructive criticism and unconditional love. Break The Norms will be sponsoring Long Island's first annual Family Special Needs Resources Expo. The event will take place on Sunday April 14th at the Huntington Hilton. I will be present there to meet and greet the caregivers and guiding how daily meditation can serve as a tool of healing to the special children.
In addition, I urge you to join the 21 days meditation challenge offered by Chopra Center. Its a great practice to get started on the journey of meditation. I look forward to meet you in my workshops and other spots on the universe meant for our meetings!
Keep breaking the norms and spread unconditional acceptance in the world!

Meeting Oprah! - A Note from Serena Dyer
Her father, Wayne Dyer, most recent bestseller is called Wishes Fulfilled, but during a recent shoot with him and Oprah in Maui, Serena Dyer had one of her own longtime wishes granted. Read this note from Serena herself to find out what it was!
Meeting the most influential woman of the 20th century has been a dream of mine since I first started watching her show in my early teens. This past February, as I pulled up to Oprah Winfrey's home on Maui so she could film a show with my dad, I realized I was about to have one of my long term "wishes fulfilled."

Conscious Eating for Perfect Weight
Dr Shiela Patel, Medical Director Chopra Center
What is perfect weight? It is tempting to think that there is a certain number on a scale that defines a person's "perfect" weight. The problem with this, as many recognize, is that even when they reach their goal weight, they still don't feel healthy and vital. On the other hand, some people may not meet the criteria for "ideal weight" by some standards, yet they still feel vibrant, healthy, and happy. Perfect weight isn't a number. It isn't about how someone looks. Instead, it is a natural state of balance, where we feel healthy and energetic
