Welcome to the May edition of the PFLA online newsletter.

With just two short weeks to go before PFLA's 21st annual field tour, conference and AGM, we're pulling together the final touches (crossing our "i"s, dotting our "t"s, polishing our shoes) to make sure everything is set for another great event.

British Columbia's wildfire season is off to its busies start in 10 years. As of noon, May 13th, category 2 open fires are prohibited in the Coastal Fire Centre. Open burning restrictions remain in effect until October 21, 2016.

PFLA headed to Ottawa, May 3 to 5, 2016, to join members of the Canadian Association of Forest Owners (CAFO) from across Canada.
