Welcome to the October 2014 edition of the PFLA online newsletter. You'll find forest management tips, information about the latest PFLA happenings and other news we hope you'll find useful. As always, we appreciate you taking the time to read through our materials and look forward to any questions or feedback you might have.

Access is vital to a well-managed woodland. That's why we borrowed from one of our favourite resources again to help you think about planning your road network. Out and About with the PFLA

A big PFLA thanks to everyone who joined us for our annual UBCM reception in Whistler. It was an excellent opportunity to connect with local and provincial elected officials. Coming up at the end of October, PFLA looks forward to the chance to participate in a panel discussion, "Trends, Issues and Opportunities for Wood in the 21st Century", hosted by the Vancouver Island Economic Alliance (VIEA) at their 8th annual economic summit in Nanaimo, BC.
Thanks again for your interest.
