Private Forest Matters Newsletter

August 2013
Greetings!

Welcome to the August edition of the PFLA online newsletter. As promised, we've put together a few highlights from our annual field tour and forestry forum held late June at the Coast Bastion in Nanaimo. Another big PFLA thanks to all the organizers, presenters, tour hosts, and of course, participants who took time out of your busy schedules to join us!

Sept. 6-8, 2013 Cowichan Exhibition
An excellent opportunity to engage the community just for the fun of it, PFLA is proud to co-sponsor the 3rd annual zucchini racing competition at the Cowichan Exhibition. We look forward to an action-packed weekend connecting with families, elected officials, forest owners, community members and busloads of enthusiastic school kids. Here's some photos from last year for inspiration.
