Product Design students exhibit in Milan

Product Design Program students were invited to Milan, Italy, in March to exhibit their work in the annual Salone Internazionale del Mobile di Milano, also known as Milan Design Week. The event is the global benchmark of the home furnishing industry. From left, UO students Sean Leyden, Tana Sollars, Chris Lau, Rita Clare, Josh Larsen, Zander Eckblad, and Brooke Anderson joined Product Design Program Director Kiersten Muenchinger and Assistant Professors Wohnee Arndt and John Arndt for the show (faculty members are not pictured). "The outcome of traveling to Milan has the potential to create some life-changing opportunities and I cannot thank the Product Design Program staff and my fellow students enough," Leyden said. Read more on the A&AA website and in the students' blog about their work for the Milan show. Photo by Chris Lau.
