Today's Scripture(s) - Psalm 140:1
"Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man;"
With so much that is happening around us today I am reminded this morning to remind you to pray daily asking the Lord to protect you, to keep you, to preserve you and to deliver you and your families from evil and violent men. We are not to take anything for granted. We Child of God must stay on our posts daily. We must pray asking for protection, asking the Lord to shield us and fight for us and thank Him for His goodness and His mercy that follows us all the days of our lives. Child of God there is so much that can be diverted from our lives if we would just pray. Child of God there is so much that can be diverted from our lives and the lives of our love ones if we would just pray declaring and decreeing the Word of God into and over our lives daily. We get tired of decreeing and declaring the Word of God and we say 'that's enough the Lord's got me the Lord's got us'. Yes the Lord does have you, but isn't it better to continue building the wall of protection around you and yours, isn't it better to reinforce that wall that surrounds you making it stronger? When we stop praying, when we stop decreeing God's Word, when we stop declaring God's Word everything is good and all seems well but what we don't physically see is that we are constantly being attacked in the spirit. The enemy does not stop throwing darts our way just because we do not see them. And if we go too long not being in our place of prayer and supplication before the Father our wall will be taking blows and eventually cracks will begin to form and when cracks form the enemy is able to seep in little by little, small things begin to happen that disturb us bringing stress, fear and or doubt, we begin to wonder why things are happening that weren't happening before. (I am using a wall as illustration because when we are before the Father in prayer, when we are dwelling in the Secret Place of the Most High God we feel strong, we feel protected, we feel shielded, we walk in confidence before the Father without doubt, without fear, we are not stressed or weary because we KNOW that the Father has us covered we know that we abide under His shadow and the enemy cannot see or find us, think about that. Now, why wouldn't we stay in the Secret Place of the Most High God?) We are not to become complacent and or comfortable: 1 Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:" I ask the Father to be a wall of fire around me and my family and all my love ones, I ask Him to be a wall of fire around us that no evil can penetrate. When I started asking the Father this it was a long time ago and after a while I asked the Father is what I am asking for biblical and this is where the Father took me Zechariah 2:5 "For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her." Pray asking the Father to deliver you and to preserve you and yours daily dear ones. He is the only one that can keep us, the ONLY one and He is our hope and our confidence must be in Him!
Today's Prayer:
Father I thank you for your love and your kindness to me today. I thank you Father for your love and kindness to my love ones, all of them today. Thank you Father for waking us up this morning and thank you Father for keeping watch over us as we slept on last night, thank you Father for being so good and so great and so wonderful to us. Thank you Father for your goodness and your mercy that follows us all the days of our lives! Thank you Lord for providing for us all that we need. You are so good. Thank you Father God for all things, Father today I ask that you would shield our lives. Shield us and protect us Father. We need your protection. We need you Father to surround us, be a wall of fire all around about us that no evil can penetrate. Let the enemy be burned and destroyed that comes up against every one of your Children Father God. Send your angels with flaming swords to cut asunder every evil force that rises up against your Children Father God. I thank you Father that the wicked and violent are destroyed from our lives and we walk with confidence and peace unhindered, unbound and unafraid. We dwell in your secret place Father God, we abide under your shadow and we are hidden from the enemy, the enemy cannot see us, the enemy cannot find us, you Lord, cover us with your wings and we thank and praise and glorify your great name. We thank you Father for everything that you do for us. You are our Deliverer and we worship your great name! Blessing and honor to you Father God! Glory and power to you Father God! We exalt you Lord and lift you up! We give you all the glory you are worthy of all praise! Bless you Father God great and wonderful you are! Bless you Father God awesome and true you are! Bless you Father God there is none like you Great KING! Bless you Father God Lord of everything! In Jesus name I pray. Amen

I believe that you Lord Jesus shed your precious blood and died for my sins, I am willing to turn from sin and live a life that is holy and pleasing in your sight. I now invite you Christ Jesus to come into my heart and live in me and be my personal Savior. I ask that you would fill me with your precious Holy Spirit, lead and guide me in this life Lord Jesus. Thank you for saving my soul. Amen.
