Please send any pictures you may have to the yearbook team, as they would greatly appreciate it! Liesel Donaldson has graciously offered to be the point of contact for all middle school photos. Please send photos to Liesel via email.

TEDx Youth Event
|
On Friday, April 12, all middle school students have the privilege to attend a TEDx Youth Event at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver. Please let me know if your child will NOT be able to attend as we will not return to school until around 5:45 pm. The cost is $10 to cover transportation.

TEDxMileHigh's second youth event (TEDxYouth@MileHigh) - a free opportunity focusing on leadership and innovation for youth - is scheduled from 1-5 p.m., Friday, April 12, and is an ideal education and leadership development opportunity for students in grades 6-12. In a single event, students will be exposed to a dozen big ideas from the state's most brilliant thinkers and accomplished doers. The program challenges audience members to think critically about their lives, communities and own leadership and is designed to inspire attendees to be more creative and innovative in their own lives. Topics include education, science, health, technology, entrepreneurship and sustainability.

Mission: Our mission is to develop young adults with character like America's founding Renaissance man, Benjamin Franklin: well-read, scientifically curious, and civically engaged. Vision: Our students will excel academically through a challenging, sequenced curriculum that emphasizes math, science, and literacy. We will be a data driven institution, focusing on individual students. Our students, teachers, parents, staff, and leaders will be held accountable for the success of our school. Finally, we recognize that an education is incomplete without fostering the arts, sports, nature, and character.
