Dear Parents,

Middle schoolers who were interested in pursuing a role on Student Council have finished filming speeches. Next week, students will view their presentations and vote on classroom representatives. I am looking forward to working with this group of driven students to help strengthen the culture of our middle school and add student input into schoolwide decisions.
Science Fair
Science Fair Last week was our first Middle School Science Fair. The Commons Area was filled with projects from sixth and seventh graders. It was fun to walk around and view the scientific mindset of our middle schoolers. Twelve students were selected to take their projects to the Regional Science Fair, Feb. 27-28, at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
Candygrams
During Parent-Teacher Conferences, the middle school will be selling candygrams for $1. Our candygrams are lollipops that will be hand delivered to students during the day on Thursday, Feb. 14, along with a handwritten note (if purchased during conferences).
