Dear Preschool Families,
Parent-Teacher Conferences are fast approaching. Our second conferences of the year will be held from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5, and Thursday, Feb. 7. I will be sending out a sign-up form per class through SignUp Genius today, Friday, Jan. 25. Time slots are for 15-minute increments. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Parent Corner
There is a lot to parenting. Every day brings new joys and challenges. Children's Hospital of Denver has decided to help ease the unknown with free parenting seminars! The seminars are taught by pediatric experts in many different areas of development. Their next seminar, No Regrets Parenting, is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5. Curriculum Corner
- Mrs. Furnier's class is learning all about dinosaurs. They have made dinosaur footprints, dug for fossils and explored what happened to dinosaurs during the Ice Age.
- Mrs. Olson's class has begun their unit on dinosaurs as well. The children made a dinosaur book and painted a dinosaur. They also practiced counting the humps on the dinosaur's spine.
- Mrs. Spurgeon's class has been discussing which animals hibernate and then made a winter wonderland in the sensory table for the animals that do not hibernate. They also have been working on one-to-one correspondence in math.

Quote of the Week
Kelci walked up to Mrs. Savoy and said, "Are you and Mrs. Olson going to go to kindergarten with me?" Mrs. Savoy said that she needed to stay in preschool, and Kelci replied, "I don't know if I can do it without my teachers."
