It's hard to believe how fast 2013 is just blowing by, so let me (Jeff) give you a short update with details to follow in the next couple of weeks. Julie and I have been back from our trip to India, Nepal & England for almost 6 weeks now. It was a very fruitful trip where we visited many of our partner churches and had great times of fellowship with the pastors and their families. We will be sending a series of emails in the next few weeks with details and photos from the trip. We have been busy at home getting the yard under control after being gone so long. We have gotten our veggie garden planted the flower beds cleaned up and new flowers planted. We have also been

very busy with our local M28 ministry project "The Bridge Park". This is the ministry work we do when we are not traveling. We have been transitioning from being indoors for the winter months to outdoors back in the park.
We started The Bridge Park Ministry (BP) in September of 2009 to serve the needy people of our community. Every Saturday we serve a hot meal to meet their physical needs and give a gospel message to meet their spiritual needs. We also give away clothes, shoes, jackets, coats, blankets... we also give away diapers. We have a children's ministry where the children learn about Jesus through bible stories, craft projects and games. BP is all about taking Christ to t
he people. We have volunteers from many churches and several different denominations, making BP a vessel to bring unity to the body of Christ, not division. The Holy Spirit moves in and through the volunteers every Saturday allowing them to become the hands and feet of Christ as they serve the needy people of our community. This September will mark our 4th year serving at BP! To date by God's grace we h
ave served over 10,000 meals, given away over 33,000 diapers and given countless clothing items away. Most importantly there have been many led to the Lord and continue to come to be spiritually fed every Saturday. We have had a
baptism service the last 2
summers where he have baptized many people from young to old out in the park in full view of passersby, using a water trough filled up by the fire department. All I can say to that is we serve an Awesome God!!! Lord willing we will have another baptism service i
n the park this summer and be witness to the change in the lives of the people surrendering to Christ that only The Holy Spirit brings.
If you live in the Lawton Fort Sill area or will be visiting and would like to volunteer you can sign up on our website,

we set-up at 11am & we serve from 12-2pm
The Holy Spirit is leading us to take the BP service to another level as the ministry serves as "church" to many of the regular attenders. We want to have consistent worship music with the words to the songs being projected on a screen. We have all the components needed except a digital projector. We also want to start doing "Bridge Park Movie Night" where we will play a Christian themed movie outside in the park, once a month.
We have several needs at The Bridge Park that we need your help with to continue the work that the Lord is doing here. First and foremost we need your Prayers!
We have an amazing group of volunteers who tirelessly give their time each week to make The Bridge Park Ministry possible Julie and I want to say a very heart felt THANK YOU to them all, but we desperately need more Volunteers!!!
Things we need for The Bridge Park:
1. Digital Projector $500 for music lyrics & Movie Night

3. Music Equipment $500 Acoustic/elect guitar and drum box
