Dublin: Celtic and Art Music at the Folger Shakespeare Library
FOLGER CONSORT
Early music ensemble-in-residence at the Folger Shakespeare Library
With harpist Siobhán Armstrong, soprano Molly Quinn, and guest instrumentalists David Douglass, and Tom Zajac.
The concert samples the rich array of music from Ireland and its Celtic neighbors, including pieces for bagpipe, harp, and fiddle by Turlough O Carolan, William Lawes, and others.
