ACC Math
We have just finished our first trimester using the online version of ACC Math. As a school we have mastered over 5,525 learning objectives! Awesome! Teachers and students are both loving the online version. ACC Math is done with students in 3rd - 8th grades. 1st and 2nd graders may begin an ACC account if they have mastered all the fact fluency for Xtramath. ACC Math may be completed at home, on a computer or on an iPad. Students login to their AR/ACC account, but select Math instead Accelerated Reader, select their RIT group and work on practices. If they see a "Test" appear, complete the test first--this is how you master objectives. Objectives are individualized for each student depending upon their MAP scores. You can find how your student is doing by clicking "progress" at the top of the page and looking at the "Mastered Objectives."
Here are the 2nd trimester goals for each grade:
- 3rd grade - 20 objectives
- 4th grade - 15 (new) objectives
- 5th grade - 40 objectives
- 6th grade - 50 objectives
- 7th & 8th grade - 40 objectives

News from the Business Office
|
It's time to start thinking about school registration for the 2015-16 school year! In January, Parish Verifications will be sent out. The Parish Verification is used to confirm your family's participation status at your Parish. The Parish Verification is used by the school to establish your student's tuition rate. Please make sure that you have fulfilled your Parish's requirements to be considered an active member. If your family has a change in your Parish registration, please contact Caroline Panzarella, Operations Manager with the most up-to-date information. Any questions can also be directed to our Operations Manager.

Happy New Year! Reports will come home next week to let you know where you stand with your Scrip earnings so far. Our Scrip year goes until mid-March, so you have a few months to earn your $100 profit for the school. If you are already there, that's great news! You will have a balance you can apply to FACTS. Please keep in mind that families will be billed for any amount less than $100 that remains as your scrip obligation when our Scrip year ends. Rather than having to pay, why not buy Scrip and get gift cards in return?
