A big thank you to our Bulldog Ambassadors who hosted Mass this past Sunday at St. Benedict Parish! It was great seeing so much support from the community for our school and for the students who attend it.
And save the date--Bulldog Ambassadors will be hosting Mass again at St. Benedict on December 7 at 11 am!
Ultimately, we would love to see this expanded into all of our students' home parishes as a way to spread the message about the amazing students at our school. Way to go, Bulldogs!

| Q: What exactly is the Arizona private education tax credit?
A: Arizona law (ARS 43-1089) allows you to make individual charitable contributions to school tuition organizations by redirecting your State of Arizona tax liability on a dollar for dollar basis.
Utilizing a tax credit does not change your out-of-pocket cost in any way! Without costing you a single penny, you help deserving kids get a quality Catholic education.
Q: How does the tax credit work? How can I tell if I pay state income taxes?
A: If you are a W-2 employee, then you are paying AZ state income taxes throughout the year during each payroll period. When you receive your W-2 and complete your tax return, you will have one of three things happen. 1) You end up having no tax liability. 2) You overpaid during the year and are receiving a refund or 3) You owe additional state taxes because not enough withholdings occurred during the year throughout your paychecks. If you fall into #2 or #3, then you ARE paying Arizona State Income taxes. By participating in the credit, you will either 1) increase the amount of refund you will receive from the state or 2) decrease what you owe to the state. Q: How much can I give?
A: You can redirect any portion of your tax liability (what the state collects from you or income taxes) up to certain maximums: Single Filer 2014: $1,053 Married Filer 2014: $2,106 |
