National Civil Rights Group Recognizes St. John Bosco Catholic School for Tolerance Efforts Teaching Tolerance, the educational project of the Southern Poverty Law Center, has named St. John Bosco as a Mix It Up Model School for its exemplary efforts to foster respect and understanding. SJB is one of 76 schools from across the country receiving the honor. "In today's polarized world, it's refreshing to see schools that are doing extraordinary things to encourage students, faculty and staff to cross the social boundaries that so often divide us," said Maureen Costello, the director of the Teaching Tolerance project. "By recognizing these schools and calling attention to their great work, we hope that other schools will follow their lead."

 National Junior Honor Society
Administration is pleased to announce that St. John Bosco has been accepted and received its charter for National Junior Honor Society. Membership in NJHS is one of the highest honors that can be awarded to a student. Our chapter will strive to give meaning to the Society's standards of scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character. The National Junior Honor Society strives to recognize the total student- one who excels in all of these areas.
