We love our volunteers!  How awesome is this?  When asked to help out on a Saturday, this was the response from a very involved, dedicated and helpful grandparent to one of our office staff, Miss Dorothy:

"You and all the staff at SJB are the best.  It gives my husband and I such joy to know that the future of our wonderful country is in the hands of the folks at SJB.  I never get out of my car in the parking lot that I don't have this overwhelming feeling that Angels are present.  Once I get into the courtyard, I can almost see and hear God's Angel's.  They are present because of you all and the children of SJB.  The work you do and the time you give does not go unnoticed!  God's work is alive and well at SJB and it shows through folks like you!

Thank you for all you do to make our school, administrators,  teachers, students, and parents such a great place to work, study and volunteer!"

Thank you, Mrs. Terri Lisi, for all you do to help our students and staff!!

Q&A - March 25
The next Q&A is scheduled for March 25th from 6-7 pm in the library.  Please join Dr. Axman, Mr. Watson and our Advisory Board members for answers to your questions.

MAP Results

Our winter MAP (Measurement Academic Progress) results have been compiled. We are pleased and proud of the progress our students have made.  Remember, age groups and grade levels, as well as individual students, learn at different rates and in differing manners.  Overtime however, we see the vast majority of our students far exceeding the national averages.  For example, our students may perform only slightly above the norm in 3rd grade but grow at a rate of a grade and a half annually.  This pace results in our 8th grade students frequently scoring in the 11th and 12th grade ranges on high school entrance, honors, and advanced placement examinations.

Rocket Derby
Cub Scout Pack 77 would like to invite any boy between 1st and 4th grade to join us for a Rocket Derby on Saturday, March 8 from noon-4pm at the SJB field on the East side of the school.  We will have a BBQ at noon and rocket launch to follow.  If you are new to Cub Scouts, we will provide you with a Rocket to build and launch while you are at the event.  This is a great way to meet other Cub Scouts and find out what our SJB Pack 77 is all about.  We will have information available, if you are interested in joining.
