Principal's Note
Dear St. John Bosco Families,

There was such a whirlwind of activity on campus these past few weeks! I was so amazed by the generosity of our community. Your time, talent and treasures were given abundantly and seemingly without end. The planning and organizing of our traditional Christmas program, classroom celebrations, shoe drive, gifts for our SVdP adopted families, St. Peter's Mission, and our "Pequenos," are just a few examples of the many ways you helped to make this special time of year memorable for all.

I hope the next few weeks will allow each of you to slow down and enjoy the beautiful Christmas season with your family and friends. May your heart be filled with Joy as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Peace and Blessings,
Dr. Axman

Thank You!

Thanks to all who donated shoes and donated for free dress . Our shoe drive was a huge success!   The Sisters at St. Peter's were so excited  and  the Principal at Frank School was very thankful!  Thank you for helping to make Christmas special for those who have less than  we do.

A big thank you to all the cooks and bakers who kindly donated several wonderful dishes for the staff's December luncheon.  Special thanks also to the coordinator, Alisha Watson. Everything was delicious!  Your time and talents were truly appreciated.

Labels for EducationThank You ...

... to all the students and families who helped contribute to the Box Tops Thanksgiving contest.  Over the past 3 months, I have been  continuously collecting Box Tops for this next FREE DRESS day and Pretzels/Lemonade with Father Bob.  YOU are all fantastic for "Seeing, Clipping, and Saving" these tops for our school.  In the past 3 months, we have been able to reach our school goal of 20,000 box tops collected!  Our grand total was just under 7,500 collected in the last 3 months.  Way to GO!  Congratulations goes out to the 5TH GRADE level who won 1st place by bringing in 2, 247 tops and labels.  The school will soon be receiving a check for approximately $1,937.00 which will be disbursed among the classrooms.

Also, don't forget to log into www.btfe.com and shop online this Christmas season.  Click on the "shop and earn" tab at the top to shop at almost 400 retailers.  Each retailer listed donates a certain number of Box Tops automatically to SJB with each $10 purchase.  If you are going to shop online this year, please give this a look and earn Box Tops along the way.  Thank you so much for "seeing, clipping and saving" those Box Tops.  Let's see if we can double our goal in 2014.  You really do make a difference!
ESP during Christmas Break
ESP will be available December 26, 27 and January 2, 3 from 6:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m by registration only.  Click here to register.
