Dear SJB Families,
Good things follow good things.
That is something my dad always told me and it really is true. When we think positive and speak in positive ways good things follow. This is an important part of the connection we have to St. John Bosco School. Each of us are emissaries of good will and carry a part of the reputation of the school. So I am asking each of you to go out and talk the good talk about our school.
Here are some things to brag about.
We have highly qualified teachers who have many years of experience. Three of these teachers recently were recognized as being outstanding. Mrs. Larsen, one of our third grade teachers, has been named Arizona Private School Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Reichardt, one of our fourth grade teachers was recognized as NFL Cardinals MVP Teacher. Mrs. Perkins, one of our first grade teachers, received a special recognition for KNIX Radio, Teacher of the Week. The reality is that all of our teachers are outstanding and deeply committed to making St. John Bosco a great place for children to learn.
Along with the teachers, our parents deserve recognition. All of our committee members, club and organization members as well as daily volunteers provide an energy for our school. This unselfish giving of time and talents to support our efforts of providing a positive Catholic learning environment for our students is another aspect that makes St. John Bosco a very special place.
Our support staff, educational assistants and administrative staff work generously to keep things running smoothly, efficiently and productively. Although only one of our staff members was nominated for administrative assistant of the year, all of them have my vote for people who deserve recognition of their selfless giving of their time and talents.
So, yes, this is a pep talk. We need each and every one of you to go out and spread the good news about St. John Bosco Catholic School. Tell everyone you know what a great place this is for children to learn.
Blessings,
Dr. Marie Axman
Principal, St. John Bosco
