Congratulations to SJB Alumni! Word came to us this week that 4 of the top 10 ranking students in the Seton Catholic Preparatory Freshmen Class are from St. John Bosco. Eleven students in our now Junior class have been selected for National Honor Society (that we know of-- those are just the ones that contacted us).
The school children participated in another Lock Down Drill this morning. Prior to the drill, the teachers talked with the students about what to do if they were in the Multipurpose Room or on the playground, or even if they were locked out of a classroom. We invited all our substitute teachers to be on campus this morning during the drill and reviewed written instructions for a variety of Crisis events. Mrs. Conner |
Yearbook
If you haven't purchased a copy of your Yearbook, go to treering.com/validate and enter the school passcode: 1013434873754555. It's as easy as that! You have the option in ordering the soft cover for $24.49 or the hard cover for just $6.95 more. Remember, each purchase includes two free pages that you can customize for your child. For each yearbook purchased, Treering, the yearbook company, will plant a tree.
If you've already made your purchase, don't forget that you have up to April 29 to finalize the custom pages. For now, make it a habit to take pictures of your child during special school events or holidays. You can personalize it some more by adding messages from friends or teachers. If you have any questions, send them to Mrs. Carlos.

Save the Date- Whole Family Event On March 15 the School Families are invited to lead the Stations of the Cross in the Worship Space at St. Benedict. Our Prayer Journey has each family lead a station, and there is typically a parent and a child reflection. Immediately following the Stations of the Cross is a simple soup and bread meal. New this year, will be a Taize (ta-zay) Prayer service to follow. This is a family event, and a great way to share, or experience for the first time, a tradition in our Catholic Faith. Add the date to your calendars now for March 15th starting at 6 p.m.
On March 1, another parish group will be leading Stations of the Cross on the School Campus. Stations begin at 6 p.m. followed by a simple soup meal, please join us!
