WELCOME BACK PICNIC & DEBRIEFS

Join us for picnic food, delegation presentations, program debriefings (mandatory for all travelers), and new season planning/information. All CISVers, old and new, are welcome to attend! Please bring a reusable water bottle!

Proceeds from this annual fundraiser will benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and the Junior Branch Annual Fund. Sign up to join us!


 

2015 PROGRAM EVALUATIONS - NEW! 
Every delegation family will receive an email with a link to fill out evaluations using an online Google form. Please do not delay in filling them out! The chapter needs your feedback to learn how we are doing and how we can better prepare leaders and delegates each year. Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who has stepped up and taken a role in the upcoming year! If you have not been able to decide what best suits you, please see the list of available roles, below. If you have any questions, please contact Amy Raslevich
  1. Youth Meeting Planner - working with the chapter board and Director to plan our YM in July 2016
  2. Youth Meeting Director and Staff - facilitating the program onsite in July 2016. Please contact the chapter to apply!
  3. Local Interchange Co-Chairperson  - working with Sally Nava this year, learning to support our yearly Interchange
  4. Village Parent Coordinator - assist with Village applicants, leader applications, selection and coordinating delegations
  5. Regional Mini Camp Coordinator - coordinating our chapter members who attend and arranging transportation
  6. National Mini Camp Committee - working with Jennifer Burns and Nancy Wolfson to help facilitate the National Mini Camp being hosted in Pittsburgh in May 2016
  7. Public Relations Coordinator - working with press releases and social media assistance

AJAPO refugee resettlement agency is welcoming new families this month. CISV families are needed to accompany them to a museum or fun, Pittsburgh outing! Contact Elaine Hyder to see how you can help!

CHAPTER RETREAT

Beginning at 10:30am
This will be a day-long event, with Junior Branch members and adults working to plan for the upcoming year. It's a great time and we look forward to all chapter members joining us to help continue the good work happening in our chapter. All incoming board members and committee members should attend. More details coming soon!

CISV IN MOTION - Save the date!
The annual meeting of USA chapters will be held October 15-19 in Covington, Kentucky. All adult and JB board members are encouraged to attend. Scholarships are available. Contact Amy Raslevich if you are interested in attending.
