CHAPTER MEETING 
Newcomers are welcome!
Due to the holiday weekend, April's chapter meeting will be Sunday, April 12, 2015, 3-4:30pm

PARENT ORIENTATION
If your child is attending a program this year, and you did not attend the orientation held in January, you must be at the chapter meeting on April 12, from 3-4:30pm.

Step Up - Alsace, France (1 delegate, 15 yrs old)
Village - Denver, Colorado (1 delegate, 11 yrs. old)
Youth Meeting - Philadelphia (female/male, 14-15 yrs old)
Interchange - Madrid, Spain (2 males, 12-13 yrs old)

*An informative meeting about CISV Pittsburgh programs will be held at the Sewickley Public Library on April 7 from 7:00-8:00pm. Please invite a friend and RSVP now!



GYSD is the largest service event in the world and the only one dedicated to the contributions that children and youth make 365 days of the year. CISV Pittsburgh Junior Branch will be doing a park clean-up across from Phipps Conservatory. Gloves and trash bags will be provided.

When: April 18, 2015 from 2:00-3:30pm

NATIONAL MINI CAMP 2015
Hosted by CISV Smoky Mountain Chapter
Registration is now open! Deadline is 4/15!
When:  May 22-25, 2015
Where: Maryville, TN
Cost:  $130 + transportation (TBD)

NEW! CISV SOCIAL MEDIA ICON
CISV has developed a new icon that you will see on social media pages. The icon is designed to be clear at smaller sizes, and is set up as a square to fit most social media logo specifications.

MEMBERSHIP UPDATE
Please read how you can update your chapter membership. All traveling delegates and families of active juniors must be members to participate in CISV Programs.
 

YOUR CHAPTER NEEDS YOU!
CISV youth are able to attend international programs due to the efforts of volunteers worldwide. All parents are required to become involved in their chapter to ensure that we are able to host programs locally. Please register for an upcoming opportunity by May 1. Thank you!

PROGRAM INVOICES
The second installment of program invoices is due April 1. Please make sure to pay on time. Thank you!

CISV FAMILIES:  HELP AJAPO
AJAPO refugee resettlement agency is welcoming new families this month. CISV families are needed to accompany them to a museum or fun, Pittsburgh outing! Contact Elaine Hyder to see how you can help!  We will also be helping at this year's World Refugee Day on Saturday, June 20.

Absolutely no painting experience is needed, and all supplies are taken care of. Best of all, it's at your favorite local bistro! $15 of each ticket goes towards scholarship funds! Buy your ticket now!
