Planning for our Step Up this summer is well underway, and we can't pull this off without the help of our Chapter members. We will hosting 36 youth from around the globe and there are many opportunities for you to be involved. Most urgently, we need to secure families to host 2 or 4 delegates in their home during the first weekend of the camp - June 27-June 29. Please consider this opportunity. It's a really great experience for the whole family!!

Join us as we help to celebrate World Refugee Day On Friday, June 20 from 10 am - 2:30 pm in Market Square, Downtown Pittsburgh. CISV has partnered with local service agencies, and both Junior Board members and adults will help to set up beginning at 10 am. Then we will staff the children's activities tables to paint faces and help children make crafts and color. Plus, we get to enjoy the performances, food and crafts presented by the community members, and make new friends with Pittsburgh's newest residents!
We are also asking members and friends to make welcome signs in the native languages of the refugee communities, or in the languages of the countries visited as part of a CISV delegation, or of a delegation that was hosted.
