Plant City Comprehensive Plan in effect
Plan amendment and other development applications for the City of Plant City submitted after the effective date will be reviewed under the Imagine 2040 plan.
The updated comprehensive plan incorporates a more user-friendly format and emphasizes Plant City's priorities.

Measuring our performance
In 2015, the Planning Commission updated our adopted Strategic Plan. As a result of opportunities identified in this plan, staff is evaluating potential measures by reviewing existing performance metrics within the agency and in other county departments. The Planning Commission's goal is to enhance the agency's efficiency and effectiveness. At our March 14th meeting, Planning Commissioners were updated on progress towards implementing feasible performance measures.
