There's no place like our home!
Partnering with Florida's Largest Home Show to tell our story!
Florida's largest Home Show The Planning Commission and Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) are proud to announce a public - private partnership with Florida's Largest Home Show produced by Turner Expositions. Beginning in 2014, at each of the Turner Home Shows, there will be a super-sized interactive display featuring what is special about our homes, communities and our region today as well as what is in the plans for our future.

With the artistic eye and skilled craftsmanship of Exterior Concepts' David Hetrick, a unique design for each show will come to life and tell the story about different elements in our community today as well as in our transportation and comprehensive plans for the future of Tampa, Temple Terrace, Plant City and Hillsborough County.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for people to get up close (and even walk through!) planning projects that have been completed, or are underway, or on their way in future plans."
- Derek Doughty, Planning Commission Chair

"We are thrilled with this partnership.
This is our hometown and our community. We feel a responsibility as a company and as individuals living here to give back, to help generate awareness for important local issues, and to do whatever we can to make a difference whether supporting local charities and veterans or planning a brighter future of our community."
- John Turner, President of Turner Expositions

People come to Florida's Largest Home Shows, because they want to invest in and improve their homes. This partnership will elevate that planning is an investment that will increase the value of the community they call home."
- Ray Chiaramonte
Executive Director of the Planning Commission & MPO

"This is a great vehicle for sharing big ideas about transportation and growing our economy right now and for future generations with the tens of thousands of people that come to Florida's Largest Home Shows each year."

- MPO Chair, County Commission Chair Mark Sharpe
