CaseWare IDEA Releases Highly Anticipated IDEAŽ Version Nine
New Features Help Refine Analysis, Share Results and Complete Audits with Greater Speed
CaseWare IDEA and its U.S. distributor Audimation Services, Inc. today announced the release of IDEAŽ Version Nine, the most high-performance and user-friendly audit analytics software available. New features include a ribbon and quick access toolbar, a library for easy data access and increased collaboration, advanced Benford's Law tests, plus increased speed and new functionality. The release also features enhancements for IDEA Server and full integration with IDEA add-ons.

Many of you use IDEA's Duplicate Key Exclusion function test to identify duplicates when one field has slightly different information. You've seen duplicates hidden by changing the invoice date, adding numbers or letters to an invoice number, submitting duplicate invoices to different departments, or even using the Random Number Generator feature in Excel to add extended numbers following the decimal.
The IDEA Tech Team reviewed all the responses and determined that the most creative way to hide duplicates was by using visually similar characters to create multiple invoice IDs.
