Greetings!

The Go2Guys will repair or refurbish your iPhone. The young ladies at Something Belle have a hair band or bow tie that's just right for you. The Green Room Experience will help you promote your event. What all these small businesses share in common is the fact that their proprietors are students from neighborhood public schools who receive mentoring, resources, and opportunity at one of the most innovative after-school programs we've seen, The Possible Project, neighbors of ours here in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The Possible Project is this year's beneficiary of the ninth annual Flavors of Fall event which City Square Associates co-hosts with our friends at BostonChefs.com, The Charles Hotel, and Cambridge Savings Bank. It's just a few days away now--Monday, November 12 at Regattabar, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM--and we're looking forward to a great night. You may have already received an invitation from us via snail mail.

It's a pretty simple proposition: Each year, we select a small community-based organization who we think might benefit from a modest infusion of capital to help further their mission. We invite some of the best chefs and restaurateurs in our city to use the palette of the fall harvest to create a spread of savory and sweet tastings for our guests. We organize and promote the event, and every penny of the money raised from ticket sales goes to that organization. Since the first Flavors of Fall in 2004, we've been able to raise nearly $75,000 for a wide range of Cambridge-based organizations that are helping to improve the lives of our neighbors.

As a friend, business partner, or client of City Square Associates, there are two ways you can participate. Naturally, you can purchase a ticket and attend the event. The $65 per person ticket price--all of which goes to support the good work of The Possible Project--includes all food and beverages, not to mention a side of live jazz. Or, if you're not nearby or are unable to attend, you can sponsor a ticket--which helps us meet our fundraising goal and makes it possible for us to give some of the hardworking volunteers of the organization a chance to enjoy the night on us!

If you've already bought your ticket or made a donation, I want to thank you for supporting our neighbors at The Possible Project. If you haven't yet, please consider doing so today. One of our goals this year has been to beat our previous fundraising record by twenty percent without raising the ticket price, and with the support of our City Square family, I think we'll be able to do it.

After all, when everyone pitches in, anything's possible!

All the best,

Christopher Schiavone
